Bush Lake located on the village line of Baldwin and Webber Township in Lake County. This Michigan lake is a small lake of only twenty acres or so of water surface with reported depths of are up to 30 feet. Recently a long term resident said “This sandy bottom lake has good springs in it. As the water levels in other Michigan lakes change during the summer months, Bush Lake seems to remain constant.

Bush Lake can be clearly seen if traveling down Route #10, exit 153 from US 131, but you need to watch for it. It can be one of those small Michigan lakes that largely go unnoticed by so many on the way to busier and larger lakes. But, to true fisherman, they know that some of the “no name” lakes offer some of the better fishing in the state.

Bush Lake is directly south from Little Star Lake (37 acres) and Putnam Lake (18 acres).
