Description:
The township maintains a lake front park on the east side of the lake. There is no other known public access to the lake. Nearby, to the north, is the Pere Marquette River. To the south is Black Lake County Park, which is located entirely within the Manistee National Forest. Do not confuse this School Section Lake with the School Section Lake in Mecosta County. Both are nice, but different, Michigan lakes. |
