Description: Otsego Lake is located in Otsego County. This Michigan lake consists of 1972 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 23 feet. Ostego Lake is home to a Michigan State Park consisting of 62 acres with over half mile of lakefront beach to enjoy, also home to a nice County park.

 Great Launch Site

Excellent public launch at the state park. One of only two launches on the lake. DNR officer on site was very helpful in facilitating an orderly process, that could have otherwise been a nightmare with so many boats coming in and out of there. I wish the resources were available for more launches around the state to be staffed like this on busy days.
