Description: Hodenpyl Dam Pond is located in Springfield Township in Western Wexford County and Marilla Township in Manistee County. This Michigan body of water is formed behind the Hodenpyl Dam on the Manistee River. the backwaters contains 1680 acres of surface waters, with reported depths of up to 70 feet. Fishermen report catches of Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. There is a public access site on the North side of the pond just off No. 3 1/2 Rd. Hodenpyl Dam Pond is adjacent to the intersection of M37 and M115. |
