Description:

Coldwater Lake is located in Kinderhook and Ovid Townships in Branch County. This Michigan lake consists of 1610 acres of surface waters with reported depths of up to 92 feet. Coldwater Lake connects to the South Chain of Lakes for 17 miles of Michigan lakefront enjoyment.

There is a public access site on the Northwest side of the lake, just off Maxson Road. The site has a hard surface ramp, toilets and parking for 56 cars.

Fishermen report catches of Bluegill, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye.

Coldwater Lake is home to the Iyopawa Island Golf Course.

Coldwater Lake is 167 miles from Chicago, 66 miles from Elkhart and 19 miles from South Bend.
