Description: Gourdneck Lake is located in Portage and Schoolcraft Townships in Kalamazoo County, just east of US 131 and two miles south of I-94. This Michigan lake consists of 222 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 52 feet. Fishermen Report catches of Largemouth Bass in Gourneck Lake. To enjoy Gourdneck Lake, there is a public boat access is located on the east side of Hogsett Lake in Prairie View park, off E U Ave. A fee is charged. Hogsett Lake (81 acres) is directly south of Gourdnect Lake (222 acres), both lakes are connected by a clearly marked channel.
