Turk Lake

Turk Lake is located in Montcalm Township in Montcalm County. You cannot miss this Michigan lake, just a few miles north of Greenville on the East side of M91.

Turk Lake consists of 151 acres of surface waters with reported depths of up to 20 feet. The lake is divided into two sections, the first being smaller and rounder along Greenville Road (M91), with the other across Oak Drive known as Back Turk Lake being out of sight from the highway.

Turk Lake is home to the Turk Lake Bar and Restaurant, a family owned business that offers daily specials. One may consider enjoying a Turk Lake Burger. Food always tastes better when it is by a lake.

Like on many Michigan lakes, there is an abandoned or neglected dock. A bad sign? No not all, it is a sign that family and friends have enjoyed the waterfront for years.
