Description: Log Lake is one of Kalkaska County’s eighty lakes. Conveniently located just one mile outside of the Village of Kalkaska (Head East on County Road 612), Twin Birch Golf Course is located right across 612 from the Log Lake Park entrance. Grandview and Timber Wolf golf courses are within a six mile drive. This 26 acre Michigan lake has a reported depths of 60 feet. Fishermen report catches of Large Mouth Bass. Canoe liveries and fly fishing are available on the Manistee River which is apprioxiatly 17 miles away. Hiking on the North Country Hiking Trail is available 1 mile North or Michigan Shore to Shore horse trail is 2 miles away Or try the Turtle Creek Casino - 16 miles away, Sand Lakes Quiet Area is 16 miles west of Log Lake.
