Description: Manistee Lake is located in Cold Springs and Excelsior Townships, in Kalkaska County, adjacent to Pickerel Lake (100 acres) and Twin Lakes. This Michigan lake has 845 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 10 feet. There is a public access site on the Southeast side of the lake, just off East Shore Road. A second public access site is located on the Southwest side of the Lake off Shore Road. Fishermen report catches of Bluegill, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye.
