Description: Barton Lake is located in Schoolcraft Township in Kalamazoo County. This Michigan lake consists of 329 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 7 feet. Fishermen report catches of Black Crappie, Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Rock Bass, Sunfish, Northern Pike and Yellow Perch. There is a public access site on Austin Lake off Fisherman’s Lane. The site offers a hard surface launch with ample parking for 26 cars. |
